Stegner Amerikalı bir harika. Onu daha fazla okumalıyım. Kitap neredeyse bir hatıra, kışkırtıcı düşündü.
I HATE THIS BOOK!
I don't have adequate words to describe the deep, quiet, and persistent beauty of this powerful and thought-provoking book. I don't exaggerate when I say this is hands-down the best book I have ever read, and I am simply and immensely grateful for its existence. I guess that's not a review so much as an exaltation. Let me try again... I bought this book fully expecting to hate it. I was told that it was tediously written, slow to progress, with a disappointing end. I couldn't disagree more vehemently. I think this is the first book I would dare to call "pure literature." It's a dazzling work that deftly portrays the founding and destruction of a town and a family line. I can't imagine the immense dedication the was required to write One Hundred Years of Solitude. I've never been more touched or inspired by a novel. It was like dream that I never wanted to end.
